Construction Update: March 6

Crews began demolition work on the south side of the project area on February 23 and have since progressed to work on the north side. This includes sidewalk and curb removal, along with utility adjustments and roadway preparation for future reconstruction. This upcoming week’s demolition and other roadwork requires the following traffic closures and shifts. Please stay out of construction zones and follow traffic as directed.

Monday 03-09: 7 am – 5 pm

• The intersection of 400 E and Main Street will be closed. Business access will remain open. Follow detour signs to get to Main Street from 400 E.
• One-way alternating from 300 E – 400 E. Please follow flaggers direction as they direct traffic.
• Road shoulders and sidewalks are closed to pedestrians and parking within the project area.

Tuesday 03-10, Thursday 03-12, Friday 03-13: 7 am – 5 pm

• Road shoulders and sidewalks are closed to pedestrians and parking within the project area.

Wednesday 03-11: 7 am – 5 pm

• 500 E/Main St intersection closed off.  Access to the school will be open.
• The intersection of 500 E and Main Street will be closed. School access will remain open. Follow detour signs to get to Main Street from 500 E.
• Road shoulders and sidewalks are closed to pedestrians and
  parking within the project area.
