Memorial Hill Legacy Flag Installation Event

Join us tonight as Midway comes together to honor our Wasatch County veterans and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

The Memorial Hill Legacy Flag Tribute begins at 6:00 PM at the Midway Community Center with a brief community program recognizing the service and sacrifice of our veterans and highlighting Midway’s America250 celebration.

Following the program, participants will make their way to Memorial Hill to install 250 America250 flags along the trail, creating a powerful and inspiring tribute that will remain on display through July 11.

Everyone is invited to attend and participate in this meaningful community event. We hope you’ll join us as we honor our veterans, celebrate our nation’s history, and create a lasting symbol of community pride.

About the Project

As part of Midway City’s America250 celebration, the Flag Legacy Event tribute project will place 250 flags along the trail on Memorial Hill in honor of Wasatch County veterans.

Together, these flags will create a meaningful and visible memorial. The display will honor those who have served our country, recognize the freedoms made possible through their sacrifice, and celebrate the 250th anniversary of America.

How It Works

Purchase a Flag

Community members may purchase a flag through Midway City

Help Install the Display

Flag purchasers are invited to help place the flags on Memorial Hill on June 15

Take Your Flag Home

After the flags are removed, the flags will be go to the purchaser to be used at home

Installation Day

Those who purchase a flag are encouraged to join in the installation of the Flag Legacy Event display.

Time: 6 PM

Location: Meet at 6 PM at the Midway Community Center. We will then move to the Memorial Hill Trail for installations.

Additional installation details will be provided to flag purchasers.
