About the Performance
Celebrate Independence Day with the Utah Symphony
Experience the power of live orchestral music beneath the mountains of Midway. As part of Utah’s America250 commemoration, the Utah Symphony will bring its Music Elevated State Tour to Midway Town Square for a special patriotic performance featuring beloved American favorites, inspiring classics, and music perfect for celebrating Independence Day.
This free community concert is made possible through a partnership between Midway City, America250 Utah, and the Utah Symphony.
What to Expect
Family Friendly
Enjoy an evening of music in a welcoming outdoor setting for all ages.
Bring Your Own Seating
Lawn chairs and blankets. Seating is first come, first served on the Town Square lawn. Seating opens at 4 PM.
Food
A variety of food trucks will be on-site for service from 5-8 PM.
Is the concert free?
Yes. Admission is completely free.
Can I bring chairs?
Yes. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.
Is there reserved seating?
No. Seating is first come, first served.
When can I place my chairs or blankets on the lawn?
The Town Square seating area opens at 4 PM. Chairs, blankets and personal items are not permitted on the lawn before that time. Unattended chairs and blankets will be removed.
Are pets allowed?
No. Please leave your pets safely at home.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The show is rain or shine. Severe weather updates will be posted on the City website, social media channels, and the My Midway City App.
Can I bring food?
Yes. Please remember that our Town Square is alcohol free. Food trucks will be available.
Seating
Town Square Opens at 4 PM
Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets, but remember that the grass seating areas will not open until 4:00 PM.
Throughout the morning and early afternoon, Town Square will be busy with our traditional 4th of July festivities, and our event team will be preparing the lawn for the evening concert. To allow crews to safely set up and prepare the seating areas, chairs, blankets, and other personal items may not be placed on the grass before 4:00 PM. Any items left before then will be removed.
Dogs are not allowed on the square for this event.
Once the lawn opens at 4:00 PM, find your favorite spot, grab dinner from one of our food trucks or local vendors beginning at 5:00 PM, and enjoy an unforgettable patriotic concert with the Utah Symphony at 8:00 PM.
No alcohol is allowed on Town Square.

Make an Evening of It

Beginning at 5:00 PM, food trucks and local dining options will be available on Town Square. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy dinner, shop local businesses, and explore Midway before the concert begins.
These food trucks will be on the square and ready to provide plenty of good eats:

Parking & Shuttle Information
Parking
Public parking will be available throughout Midway, although very limited. We encourage you to walk or ride your bike to the event. We will have plenty of bike parking racks available. Bring your bike lock.
Shuttle Service
Complimentary shuttle service will be available from designated parking locations before and after the concert. Shuttles will run from 4 PM-11 PM. Shuttle lots are located at:
- S. Center St. (Highway 113) at the intersection of Tate Lane.
- Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1102 S. Center St.
- Midway Elementary located at 225 S. 100 W.

Accessibility
ADA parking will be limited. There will be a designated drop-off area for those who need assistance.
