All businesses operating within Midway City limits must obtain a business license.
Licenses expire on December 31st and must be renewed annually.

Property owners wishing to offer nightly rentals must meet the following requirements:

• Each Transient Rental Unit (TRU) must have a current Midway City business license, which must be renewed annually.
  
• Each TRU must also have a Property Manager licensed with Midway City, renewed annually.
  
• The rental property must be located within the Transient Rental Overlay District (TROD).
  
• Rental properties located in the TROD that are not within the Resort or Commercial Zones must obtain approval for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP).
