Notice of Upcoming Road Construction

UDOT will soon begin improvements at the intersection of Main Street and 400 East (River Road), including a new four-way traffic signal, dedicated turn lanes, crosswalks, and bike lanes to improve safety and traffic flow.

🗓️ Construction may begin as early as February 23 and continue through August 2026 (weather permitting). Work will take place on weekdays during daytime hours, with occasional Saturday work as needed.

🚦 During construction, motorists should expect lane shifts, reduced speeds, possible temporary closures, one-way traffic at times, posted detours, and light delays (about 5–10 minutes). Pedestrian access will remain available, and two-way travel will continue during non-working hours. Some construction noise is expected.

Phase 2-Burgi Lane Water Line Replacement Project

UPDATE February 17, 2026

Phase 2 work has begun. The traffic signals have been moved to the west side of Center St. The project will then continue west towards Pine Canyon Dr.
